American Gov Employees Start Go Fund Me Pages Because Of Shutdown

Over 700 federal employees have started Go Fund Me pages in order to get paid during the government shutdown. The accounts have generated $50,000 in revenue so far. The federal employees are not being paid because of the government shutdown so they are asking others to donate to their cause.

Meanwhile, NPR claims a group of federal employees are suing Donald Trump because of the government shutdown. The employees aren’t getting paid and say Trump’s administration acted recklessly and ignored labor laws when they declared the shutdown. Thousands of federal employees are expected to join the lawsuit.
