An Incredible Thrift Store Find

Many people get rid of items they no longer want at thrift stores, believing there is no real value to the item.  Before you quickly part with your items, such as art, you should do some research on it’s potential value.  Henk Laarmans was recently at a thrift store in the Netherlands and a paining caught his attention and he decided to buy it.

He spent $85.00 on the painting, and decided to get it appraised.  It was worth a lot more than $85.00.  Turns out the appraiser sold it for $34,025. The Joann Aarts painting is titled “A Sunny Day In The Dunes” and shows sand dunes covered by greenery and overgrown trees.
