The 12th edition of the Radiotelethon benefiting The Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation took place yesterday from 11:00am-7:00pm at Robert Hartley Sports Complex. The annual radiotelethon also broadcasted on Your TV (formerly Cogeco) with live reports throughout the day and evening on Jewel 107.7 including afternoon personality Stokley Peters, and Jewel 92.5 – Clarence-Rockland, raised a record $506,292.00.
The board’s goal was to raise $300,000.
All proceeds of the Radiotelethon will benefit the Access 2018 Campaign that aims to raise funds to acquire two pieces of state-of-the-art equipment: a new CT scanner and an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine.
