Keeping Your Skin Healthy

Natural, healthy, and vibrant looking skin isn’t that easy to achieve, especially when you have to battle with all the dirt in the air. 

 

It’s recommended by dermatologists that people with acne gently wash their skin with a mild cleanser, once in the morning and once in the evening and after heavy exercise.

 

Do not try to stop outbreaks and oily skin by scrubbing and using strong detergent soaps.

 

Scrubbing won’t improve acne, it can make matters worse. Talk to your doctor about the best type of cleanser to use for your skin type.

 

Not just the face. Remember to wash under the jaw and right up to the hairline. Rinse your skin thoroughly after washing it.

 

Try and stay away from astringents also. Astringents are not recommended unless the skin is very oily, and then they should be used only on oily spots.
