Putting “Can Money Buy Happiness” To The Scientific Test

Can money buy happiness……many will say without a doubt – YES – others will disagree.  It’s scientifically going to be put to the test.

Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa is giving away $9 million to 1,000 people to see if money buys happiness. He says people can use the money for anything they would like. A lottery will determine who gets the cash, based on those that re-tweeted his Twitter post from January 1.  Scientists will then analyze people’s happiness after they spend their allotment.

To date, his initial post on social announcing the contest has been retweeted by 4 million people.
